The Sonoma-Marin-Napa Chapter of EWGA is run entirely by volunteers. So whether you’re reading the chapter newsletter or attending a chapter event, it couldn’t happen without the help of volunteers.
Volunteers Needed!
We need your help. Whether you’d like to volunteer on an ongoing basis, or can simply help out on occasion, please consider volunteering. It’s a great way to get involved, give back, and meet new friends along the way.
Below is a sampling of activities that require volunteer participation.
League Captains
Become a weeknight or weekend golf league captain or co-captain
Events
Help run one of our events, or simply assist with registration, check-in, selling raffle tickets, or other duties necessary to run a successful event
Membership
Help recruit new members, mentor a new member, or mail out membership packets
Sponsorship
Recruit new sponsors, sell advertising, help with fundraising, or build on the relationships we have with current sponsors
Communications
Assist with the newsletter (write an article, take pictures!), email blasts, PR, and more
Education
Help with golf clinics or rules seminars
Handicap
Help out with handicap administration or training
Leadership
Volunteer recruitment, member engagement, and more
