The EWGA Sonoma-Marin-Napa season is now in full swing.  The Presidio event held on Tuesday, June 1st turned into a very pleasant day for our 10 players in attendance.  The course was in great shape and played in 4-1/3 hours with a very nice repast at the 19th hole.

The Chapter Championship held on Saturday, June 19 at Indian Valley Golf Club was a very long and windy day but everyone got through it.  All of the winners will now move on to the EWGA Semi-final Championships being held at The Resort at Redhawk  in Sparks, NV.

The Hiddenbrooke event held on Saturday, July 3rd was a warm, sunny day with a refreshing breeze for the 11 players in attendance.  The course was in great shape and played in 4:45.

The Northwood event held on Saturday, July 24th was attended by 16 people and the Fountaingove event held on Tuesday, August 3rd was attended by 11 people and played in 4:30. The weather was perfect and the course was in excellent shape. 

As usual, there is weekend play or event play on almost every weekend this year.  New for this year is the introduction of some weekend play on Saturdays.  Indian Valley Golf Club begins in May with six dates on Sunday to prepare players for the Chapter Championship on Saturday, 6/19/10.  Windsor Golf Club follows with five Saturday dates starting in June to prepare players for the Cal Cup Qualifier on Saturday, 8/14/10.  Weekend play ends at San Geronimo Golf Club with a combination of five Saturday and Sunday dates beginning in August and ending in October.

Weeknight golf will continue to be at McInnis Park Golf Center on Tuesdays beginning April 6 and ending October 26, Oakmont Golf Club - East Course on Wednesdays beginning April 7 and ending October 27 and Peacock Gap Golf Club on Thursdays beginning April 8 and ending October 28.
